Pilot Projects

Governor Brown’s Executive Order B-32-15 directed State agencies to collaborate on a Sustainable Freight Action Plan (Action Plan) and to work on freight pilot projects focused on California’s primary trade corridors. In the Action Plan, agencies identified pilot project concepts that integrate advanced technologies, alternative fuels, freight and fuel infrastructure, and local economic development opportunities. Agencies have developed work plans for each pilot project, which are available for download below.

The July 2018 Action Plan progress report will include updates on each of these pilot projects.
